God has blessed us with some of the most amazing speakers over the past nine years, and we will be welcoming another one of his precious daughters to share at our 10th Annual Inspirational Weekend on March 19-20.
From her kindergarten stage debut as a bovine to performing one-woman pieces with Women of Faith, Allison Allen has always relished the power of story, the thrill of walking in the shoes of others, and watching from the wings as Jesus brings His followers more fully to life.
After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Acting, Allison Allen landed on Broadway in the revival of “Grease”, and stayed there for almost two years. Following her tenure of 650 performances, the hand-jive from Rydell High still graces her dreams.
Currently, she has the joy of teaching at conferences around the country, and wing-womaning Lisa Harper on the popular podcast, Back Porch Theology.
She is a nationally published author of three books and one Bible study: Shine: Stepping Into the Role You Were Made For; Thirsty for More: Discovering the Hidden Blessings of the Desert Season; Seen, Secure, Free, and Hidden: Finding Delight in Your Life with Christ.
On a personal note, Allison is married to a good and handsome man with whom she can wear heels. This is no small feat, as Allison resides at 5’12”. Jonathan is a worship pastor, and together they have two delightful sons: Levi and Luke.
You can find out more about Allison on her website at https://www.allisonallen.net/

Please mark your calendars now, noting that our event next year will be held on the third weekend in March, not our traditional second weekend as previously published.
