Our Story

Believing that each of us has a responsibility to answer  Jesus’ call to go into the world and make disciples, twelve women from six different churches gathered together at a “visioning retreat” in September 2016 to discuss how to best meet the needs of women on the Olympic Peninsula. Over two days of prayer, singing, fellowship and discussion, we agreed on the need to collaborate with women from other Bible-believing churches to provide a conduit for hosting an annual event that would unify and encourage women. The leadership team of Olympic Peninsula Women’s Fellowship was born. (After all, the men on the peninsula have been doing this for 13 years!) What one church, with its own outreach and resources, cannot provide, many churches working together can.

“Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose… with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves.”

Claiming Philippians 2:2-4 as a model of unity, the Olympic Peninsula Women’s Fellowship seeks to encourage women to know, love, and serve God as they:

  • Develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Deepen their study of God’s Word
  • Plug into a local ministry
  • Connect with other women in their church and community
