What’s News?

Even after two years, we consider OPWF still in the infancy stages of development, but it’s been amazing to see God in action to do what we could never do in and of ourselves.  Knowing it is God’s heart that we are one gives us confidence in our planning as we look toward the future and finding more ways we can demonstrate this to an unbelieving world, especially in our little corner of the world.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR NOW FOR OUR INSPIRATIONAL WEEKEND 2019

On February 22-23, 2019 we will be privileged to have Liz Curtis Higgs as our speaker for our third Inspirational Weekend.  Information about registration and the topic Liz will present will be forthcoming this fall.  We will again be meeting at Sequim High School and anticipate selling out our event.  Please pray for God’s direction for the OPWF leadership team as they plan this special time of teaching and fellowship.

About 250 women attended this dramatic presentation of Corrie ten Boom by Susie Sandager at Dungeness Community Church on August 17th.  The message of Corrie is to bring God’s message of reconciliation and forgiveness to those around us. Thank you to those of you who supported this special event.

The OPWF All-Girls Trip to Israel in June 2019 is now officially posted on the Footstep Ministries website.  Check it out for more information or to sign up.  You can fill out an registration form without obligation, but until the deposit is received, you will not be officially registered to for the trip.  FM is working on a group discount airline price if we have 10 or more flying from Seattle.  Please feel free to invite friends and family outside of the area to join us as well.
